What sort of psycho want to murder people for that?

[–] skygirl@lemmy.world 46 points 11 months ago

Murdering people who don't believe in your religion is a time honored tradition throughout human history.

So, probably a lot of people unfortunately.

Christofascists.

This looks like it was made specifically to make fun of people who post things like that

[–] lurch@sh.itjust.works 8 points 11 months ago

but people who post things like that are often also silly/crazy enough to post that unironically. They'd probably rather use MLP than Minions, tho. It's plausible nonetheless.

Like a good Gospel-lovin' christian... joking about murdering someone with whom they disagree with, disguising it as involuntary manslaughter.

"Turn the other cheek? What kind of woke librul came up with that pussified bullshit?"

Lol .... how about one of the ten Commandments ...

'Tho shall not kill'

... not that any religion has ever followed that commandment.

It would be a real shame if violent that's were treated seriously and people who threatened to murder others were prosecuted. Can I get an "I agree"?

I think it's fine to let students pray silently and privately. Same with letting Jewish and Muslim students pray, wear religious apparel, and letting any other religions practice in whatever way that doesn't affect others. But as soon as a teacher tries to convert my kids, or another student tells them they're going to be tortured for eternity for worshiping the Gods how we see fit, there's a problem and said teachers and students need to be removed. In short, tolerate anyone but the intolerant.

Reminds me of xtians that would tell me that I should be "thankful" they were xtian because otherwise they would murder me for denying their god Jehovah/Yahweh/Allah exists and for asking questions about all the inconsistencies in "the" bible.

They do logic just about as well as they do morals...which is to say, not at all. And yet, they claim anyone non-xtian cannot have morals...
