Mario Wonder. Hoping to finish it before Mario RPG comes out.

I completed the story, but got to get every single big coin and shiny flag put there.
Made a huge mistake while playing Mario wonder. I wanted to play all of it offline but as I got towards the end I started getting kinda bored of the game and turned on online and was having a really good time again. Probably should've played the whole game online lmao.
Oh, I haven't played Wonder yet, and have been staying away from any marketing, what does going online do?
It shows other players playing the same level as you but they don't interact with anything in the level. They can die and be revived by you or other players or a standee that you can place.
I went back to playing Tetris 99 this week now that I'm on Nintendo Online. There's always time for a game of Tetris 99!
I tried the new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tracks and they're pretty good. I played a few cups with with Funky Kong, and it's fun but his voice is a bit annoying and distracting... I'll probably play a few online sessions during the weekend. It'll be a mix between that, Mario Wonder and Tetris 99 on the Switch and Kid Icarus Uprising and Metrod: Samus Returns on the DS.
I can't believe it's almost time for Super Mario RPG, where will I find the time to finish all these games? 😅 I need a vacation...
Haha, I an fully understand.
Holidays season is coming up, time to use any annual leaves if you have any left. 😀
Still playing Tears of the Kingdom. I finished Kogas Quest yesterday.
Ah, that was a fun one. Enjoy!
Wandered away from my Switch for a bit. Been playing Honk Train. (Honkai Star Rail). It's pretty decent, though I'm starting to see the gatcha wall in the distance.
I was looking forward to it, but after playing Genshin for a bit, I realised the amount of grind is too much, so just gave up.
Yeah, I just beat the second Arc and the grind is getting realer. So we'll see.
In Nintendo-ier news, TotK came in at the library, so I'll be playing that next week.
Oooh! TotK is amazing.
How long can you usually lend the games from library?
Well, its three weeks at a time with up to 20 renewals if no one else has it on hold. That...rarely happens with games. Since we got rid of late fees, you also have a week past the due date to bring itnback before they charge you, but if you bring it back afterwards, they remove the charge. Though since I work there, I feel that would be bad from.
I played it for a bit, but due to extenuating circumstances I had to return it. Got be playing BotW again though. Last save was in 2019.
Does it count if I say eternal darkness or is this for new games only?
Almost done with ulyoth!
We don't care about the release date, or the platform the game is on, as long as you are playing it, you are welcome to mention it.
I’ve been playing the Zelda 2 PC Remake that Twitch user Hoverbat made. I just made it to the final level, the Great Palace.
Interesting. Didn't know about it, just looked it up, Hoverbat has done lot of work on it.
Still have Witch on the Holy Night on hold due to personal reasons - too tired and lacking the focus to play dense, story-focused games, plus I got new glasses this week and I'm still adapting to them, so reading on the TV for a long time was not very confortable.
But I did start Super Mario Bros. Wonder and this game is amazing, I'm not usually a huge fan of the 2D Mario games, but this game got me hooked immediately. Started playing on saturday and I'm almost finished with World 4, so I guess I'm halfway through?
The "Wonder Seed" mechanic is a great twist. I love how some of the changes feel like fever dreams, others alter how the game plays, others just put you into a immediate danger situation. I also like how not only the "theme" of each world changes, but they also play with the structure of the world itself - like one world not having a castle+boss or another having a lot of hidden stages making you spend more time exploring the overworld.
Yeah, hearing great things about Wonder. Will probably end up trying it soon.
I always thought VNs are more suited to handheld. I don't think I have played Ace Attorney on TV even once.

I think they work great in handhelds, but I don't find the Switch very confortable/ergonomic to hold on long play sessions.
Maybe I should pick up a grip for it.
Well, if you enjoy playing on TV, that's good too 😀
Finally got my kick starter version of 9 years of shadow so I'll be playing that a bit. I've also been replaying golden sun lately
Oooh, how are you liking 9 Years of Shadow? It was on wishlist, but it's going to be ages when I actually get around to it.
It's okay so far. I'm still in the early game but it feels really smooth I've not really had any technical issues. The music is beautiful and the art is nice. I am finding some of the chunkier enemies are difficult for me to kill but that's probably just a skill issue. Overall I'm looking forward to seeing more of the game
Nice. Thanks for the info!
I am just playing some Pokémon Scarlet doing the Hisuian Typholsion raid. I may play a bit splatoon 3 as well.
Are you excited for the upcoming DLC?
Yep. Really looking forward to it.
Likely more Stardew, and with any luck, Talos Principle 2. I've been holding off on it, until my son finishes the first one.
How's the Talos Principle in terms of difficulty, with some like, say The Witness, if you have played that.
I'm not familiar, no.
The difficulty is exclusively in the puzzles, and it's got a wiiiiiiide range. Minimal completion is maybe like a 5/10 difficulty, pretty manageable, full completion gets up to at least 8/10. Very rewarding, though, if you're into brain-heavy puzzles.
Ah, cool. Thanks for the info.
