There are thousands of great books waiting to be made. Why does Hollywood keep revisiting the same 12 stories?

Hollywood: “What is books?”
Yeah, this feels off. Quick shots of actors without their voice being present. Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. Chances are kid actors suck.
They better not screw this one up. Looks promising.
The original show’s creators left this project almost immediately after it started. Not a good look.
Bruh its netflix! They will find a way to f it up (hope its good tho)
If One Piece was any indication we should be eating good.
Cowboy Bebop would like a word
As would Death Note.
I loved the Cowboy Bebop show and was genuinely surprised people didn't.
You mean the original anime, or the latest live-action ?
The live action. I thought it was great an extremely faithful.
I thought it was decent, but not great. I really liked them exploring the characters a bit more.
If they would have cut the last minute off it would have been better. I don't honestly know what they should have done with Ed, but probably not that.
Yeah their one hit in an ocean of anime adaptation blunders.
Which it is not. It's an exception rather than the rule. Netflix ass-rapes every IP they get their dirty and greedy hands on.
One Piece is only an indication of what it could be if the original creator had creative control and can deny any executive decision. Doesn't sound like it's the case here.
It will be very good and cancelled after two seasons.
If they stick to the anime I'm really excited. It looks like they are doing it right. The casting is also fantastic.
I just hope they reminded Iroh that he needs to get swol lol
ATLA is not anime though
Interesting. Thanks for pointing that out. Now I'm deep in a wikipedia hole better understanding what anime means and what it doesn't. The more you know.
