The fuck is Ansu Fati doing in Brighton?? What have i missed??

[–] msr1709@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Never a good sign when a goal highlight starts with the team that conceded with possession 😬

He’s getting better and better!

Gotta feel sorry for Vos there. Very talented player but also very inexperienced. Such a shame though because Ajax was looking good again so far.

Good first touch by Ansu away from the defender. Glad its working out.

Football is truly remarkable because once shit starts going to shit on you, it's so hard to stop

Still can’t believe that he’s playing for Brighton

Look man, I think Barca hyped him up too much and injuries have fucked him, but for the National teams sake we need all the help we can get, so I am happy with his mini resurgance

[–] AckBarRs@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Hype was 100% merited before his knee exploded. Finishing and positioning were genuinely incredible for his age, he looked like a seasoned striker with 8 top-flight seasons under his belt.

His knee exploding robbed him of his ability to dribble and create and get into the positions where he can really shine though (also last seasons tactics were poorly suited to his strengths). I think he’s likely to be converted to a 9 very soon where he isn’t as pace/dribble-dependent.

Imagine hearing last fall that Ansu Fati would be scoring for Brighton against Ajax in Europe

Bad mistake but lovely finish

First touch was perfect

Should’ve been a Pedro goal if it’s at 15th mins

Google JoΓ£o Pedro 15 for more info

Shocking from Vos, but not unexpected at this age and against a level of opposition he's never faced before.

Great goal and pace of ansu fati. Looks physically fitter than last season

[–] LeatherSteak@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Strangely enough I was surprised by his relative lack of pace compared to a couple of years ago for Barca.

Showed good composure and touch though, which was nice.

Great assist from Ajax

I thought the "next Messi" was still playing with barça, lol

[–] OrdoAmplexus@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

[–] TimingEzaBitch@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

prime of example of how important first touches are.

[–] whyborg@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

TIL Ansu Fati is in Brighton. For a moment I thought this was a FM subreddit

[–] LowSnow2500@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago
