I don't suspect it will, but they got the better adaptation. I love Witcher more than Cyberpunk by a wide margin, but holy shit is Edgerunners pure gold, whereas Netflix Witcher on the other hand.... Just a real waste of Henry Cavill

Different production approach, AFAIK

Didn't the Witcher Netflix series entirely bypass CDPR, going entirely by the novel as the source material?

It was sorta supposed to be based off the books, not the games, but they made a whole bunch of... choices

But it doesn't really matter anyway. The series' will still have those adaptations under their belts, and The Witcher did not impress many who watched it. Haven't heard a single bad thing about Edgerunners, and it's honestly way better than the game IMO

The Witcher did not impress many who watched it

It impressed a lot of people when it first came out. Now it's just total shitshow tho.

Dumb, the Cyberpunk game should have evolved from the Witcher series, not gone back to square 1 and evolved "like" the Witcher series.

So cyberpunk 3 is gonna be awesome? Cool I wait till then.

Then they better add ng+ or there's no shot

WTF is every comment in this thread. Cyberpunk was fucking phenomenal.

The release version was kinda bad. It left a sour taste in a lot of folks' mouths. I used that to buy a copy on clearance for $20 and just wait out the bugfixes, but people who dropped $60 for an unplayable mess were rightly annoyed.

Fast-forward, it's no perfect game. It was good enough to play and beat, but it's not on top of my replay list. None of my own criticisms are really damning, but they do combine to a mild disappointment. But then, I like Starfield a lot (and just look at what people say about that), so maybe we just all have different tastes in games :)

Wild, I've been itching to dive back in, I really loved that game and story.

I haven't really found any of the characters that interesting outside if Johnny though

Spoken like someone who didn't even play the game or skipped all the dialogue.
