Plasma 6 Bugs

If you encounter a bug, proceed to https://bugs.kde.org, check whether it has been reported.

If it hasn't, report it yourself.

PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING HERE.

Developers do not look for reports on social media, so they will not see it and all it does is clutter up the feed.

@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Please tell me that AI is an optional package.

I don't feel comfortable with burning the planet even more.

@RyunoKi @kde @kde@lemmy.kde.social it's all optional and you need to go out of your way to configure it. Also it is used for actual useful stuff like translation and is fully offline.

@carlschwan @RyunoKi @kde@lemmy.kde.social

So no LLM training, which is what has a large carbon footprint.

@carlschwan @RyunoKi @kde @kde@lemmy.kde.social for more context, the translation support is built on the same software that Firefox uses for offline translations.
