I'm not a woman, so it may just be that... but this doesn't feel newsworthy. Is it being only women that makes it interesting? That feels kinda patronizing when it's the 4th time, doesn't it?

Firsts can be interesting when you see barriers being broken, but what's this? "Women do work!"?

I get your point, but then if this is only the 4th one ever, it's still a pretty rare occurrence, and IMO still worthy of note. Hopefully one day it won't be at all unusual.

I get your point. I think women have been left behind in space exploration for a looong time, so up to a point is is good (and maybe even important) to make a big deal out of this.

Yeah, this kind of sounds like they need to be praised every single time it occurs, otherwise they wouldn't care to let it happen. I would prefer reading news like: since 2010, there has been an equal number of men and women working on the ISS in all kinds of job positions, including the position of command, technical positions and those demanding spacewalks. Or something like that.

So cool. So terrifying. Reading that sub-article about space walks just reminds you how scary space is. Gives me expanse tv show vibes.
