Not sure if right place to ask - couldn't really figure out which subreddit might be most useful, but thought I'd give it a try here.

I have four Tapo (RTSP) cameras that I currently have setup through AgentDVR on a Windows PC upstairs. Then when I am at work, I use VNC software with TailScale to connect to that PC and view the camera interface.

I'm not a huge fan of AgentDVR; the UI/interface is not the greatest, it's often not behaving the way one would expect and often has some delays and stuttering. I don't need anything fancy like motion detection or blah blah blah - this is really only to view the cameras remotely when I am not at home. Apart from viewing, I also need the PTZ control of the cameras. Any other (simpler/lighter, still Windows) software I should be looking at? I'm not necessarily opposed to paying a bit for something, as long as it's good. I tried Blue Iris but found it had similar issues.

Thank you in advance!

Unfortunately, not Windows. I am trying to avoid running something in a container as well.

Buy a cheap NVR. Much easier than pissing about with servers and Windows. Most will have a partner app and simple cloud connectivity. Much easier all round.

I don't want to store data. I just want a simple solution to bottle and control RTSP cameras.
