I mean we would have bought a CB if Maguire went - likely Pavard - and gotten Amrabat sorted a lot earlier and got him settled. So not necessarily true.
to be fair we might have a better CB and midfielder in that might have helped us win those games anyway or not lose some of the othes... etc etc
