In their defense, City is the definition of Nouveau Riche... club legends are not something they're familiar with, so they just don't know how to act in relation to the concept
Shame they never take this stance for the numerous times their fans have mocked the Hillsborough disaster. Obviously this is the correct course of action but it does feel like a slap in the face when nothing happens when City fans are constantly singing about Hillsborough both at the Etihad and at Anfield. The best we get is a half assed "sorry if you're offended, if it happened" apology from Pep and that's basically it

This should set a good standard. Football or not in general mocking the death of another human being should never be tolerated.

If they ban the 10 fans or so that we saw in that video, the etihad will be empty every PL game

It's a shame that football is the most popular sport in the world. I love the game, but its a sport played by gits, watched by gits, organised by gits, sponsored by gits, and sometimes officiated by gits.
