I hope this data will encourage the Premier League to revisit the controversial points stat they use to sort the league table, where Newcastle are only ranked 5th and could be down to 6th by the end of the day!!

Will be down to sixth as either West Ham or Villa will be on >=17 points by day's end.

I've always advocated for league table by g/d
