It's wild how the setup is literally, our hero gets kidnapped and sold. And she just acts the entire time, like meh, it happens.

This is the third time I see a character with gremlin energy and voiced by Aoi Yuki and I instantly adore them. Tatsumaki, Tanya Degrechauff and now Maomao.

Very happy this seems to be getting a good adaptation.

Watched it without knowing anything about the plot and now it's my favorite of this Fall with Frieren.

The art is excellent, it's a bit goofy but not too much, and the story is interesting.
