Even though it's another Max pole, top 4 separated by a tenth is pretty dang exciting. COTA delivers an exciting set of qualis, per usual!

Wow Max spun. Haven't seen that in a while. Had a strong lap earlier so he's good.

Albon making it into SQ3 by the skin of his teeth.

Does the camera in Verstappen's car have some kind of stabilisation? Is that new? I don't think I have seen that before. Looks cool

It was introduced 2-3 races ago.

I like it, but the halo does block most of the view ahead. I wonder if it's possible to have this tech on the overhead camera?

I haven't seen the last couple of races haha that explains why I haven't seen it yet

I like how it shows how banked some corners are, but I agree that the halo blocks most of the view

Introduced in Suzuka on Hamilton's car. It's on the left of the intake I think? The camera has a larger FOV than we see, and software uses the horizon as a reference to create a frame that rotates as opposed to having the camera gimbal.

Sounds interesting! I don't know much about video production but I supposed it was digital. Thanks for the explanation!

Better showing by Aston Martin today. Both making it to SQ2.

Strong SQ1 for Albon as well. Hopefully he can keep it up all the way to SQ3.
