Just go back to uBlock Origin. No reason to give Google more money, they don't respect their customers.

you're not their customer, the ad companies are.
And this is exactly why I will never pay for Premium (again; I unfortunately did for a while) or any other Google service
true, we're the product offered to ad companies
No reason
I have reason: Costs. Recently in my region, Spotify racked their price from ₱129 to ₱149, ₱10 difference with YouTube Premium.
Plus, Spotify keeps shoving their podcast platform on my feed, which is annoying, and I'm only streaming music. I rather see or listen to something from my followed channels.
P.S. I only created a Google account just for YouTube and for my Android device, nothing else. I don't use other mainstream Google products.
Wait until you hear that podcasts are gonna come to YouTube Music
So there is no escape? Fck me then.
Use uBlock Origin on PC to watch YouTube without ads, NewPipe on mobile, and InnerTune for free ad free music using the YouTube music library, and no need to give Google money.
Yeah I have greyjay, newpipe and revanced on my phone in case youtube does some funky shit. I think piped.video works on pc too.
InnerTune
I will try this later. Thank you!
So far they said that they plan to offer podcasts for free if that helps any.
Apple Music has held off on including podcasts so far.
I primarily use iOS to watch YouTube. I haven’t found good solutions.
It’s the media platform I use the most. With Premium, I’m evenly supporting at least 50 creators that I watch regularly. I couldn’t meaningfully do that for the same price through Patreon.
The best solution I’ve found for the YouTube shenanigans on iOS is the baking soda and vinegar apps.
Sideload uYou plus with Altstore if you want to keep all the account functionality.
Download Yattee from the App store if you prefer to watch with Piped.
Sideload an alternative YouTube app with Altstore
It’s cool that the option exist, but it isn’t worth it to me.
Do not issue a chargeback through your bank if you care about your Google account. They will close it. Talk to Google to resolve the payment issue.
I'm not even using my bank's debit card as my Google's payment method. I linked my e-wallet account to my Google account.
I don't risk my bank's savings.
It's not about your bank account, it's about google possibly banning your google account if you do a chargeback. If you don't care about losing your google account, then you're fine.
It's weird because I've been using my e-wallet as my payment method on my former (now deleted) Google account for years, and never had issues with automatic renewal of my "Premium Pass" from one mobile game I used to play.
I will contact Google regarding this matter later.
Google permabans accounts immediately for chargebacks
google recently refunded me. so far, my account is still active.
It was successfully deducted, but the service didn't update its validity.
You paid them real money. So they have to answer properly what they did and eventually fix it.
Switch to firefox with ublock origin. Its more than heaven 🔥🔥
I'm on ungoogled-chromium. Librewolf keeps breaking a website I frequently visits.
Librewolf != Firefox, fwiw.
Its a security certificate issue. It can be solved via about:config. security.OCSP.require set to false
I haven't encountered these issues with Librewolf. What kind of websites are breaking?
ad-free experience
Try freetube.
uBlock Origin still bypass YouTube warning.
revanced and smartubenext
Ublock on Desktop GreyJay on mobile
And SmartTube for Android TV / Google TV devices.
