because organ fat and metabolic syndrome developed from a bad diet is the number 1 factor rotting your brain

Your brain is gonna have a much better ride when the vehicle isn’t groaning from aches and pains

3rd Rock from the Sun is so underrated

[–] Steeve@lemmy.ca 19 points 1 year ago (2 children)

But it was a very popular highly rated show

Except it’s not as universally listed as a pop culture hit like others.

Edit: heck, I’d love to see Home Improvement and Dinosaurs on the same lists too.

I don't know what those lists are, but 3rd Rock and Home Improvement are totally pop culture hits in my mind

Yeah, doesn't everyone know that my grunts are Taylor gRunts?

If you go to any college I guarantee you they've never heard of this show. Pop culture shows are maybe Breaking Bad and The Office but not gems like Third Rock from the Sun.

I mean, both those aired well after 3rd Rock ended. I also think it's a bit silly to call something not a pop culture hit because it isn't as popular as the two biggest pop culture hits of the 2000s.

I have no idea why anyone would down vote you.

What was wild to me, was how different he was in Dexter. Phenominal actor with an incredible range.

For real. Seeing my childhood say "Shut up cunt" was something else

When Tom got into cooking was great

[–] Stamets@startrek.website 5 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Oh god... I might have to rewatch that episode now

[–] noride@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Is it streaming anywhere reasonable?

Buckaroo Banzai, with Lithgow as Lord John Whorefin aka Emilio Lizardo.

I'm seeing the complete series for $12.99 on scamazon. That seems like a great deal.

[–] Stamets@startrek.website 4 points 1 year ago

$40 here in Canada but it's not a terrible deal.... Alright. Next month I'm grabbing that.
