Danielle Smith government uses deceptive, incomplete and incorrect data to mislead and divide voters.

Might as well have that headline on standby for the rest of what is already shaping up to be an absolutely disastrous premiership from an awful, ignorant person. Buckle up Alberta, you’ve made a huge mistake.

Alas, many of us did not vote for this Q-Anon Muppet, and are stuck on the ride.

Please send help

Sorry, ex-neighbour. I fled the province, seeking political asylum in BC.

Mostly not serious, but politics were definitely at least 10% of why we left.

Come to Ontario, we have... the same

[–] OminousOrange@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Or Saskatchewan, we have...the same, but closer.

Manitoba about to get a whole lot more popular

This whole thing is a massive, expensive disaster, and it's barely started. How many millions of dollars have already been wasted on biased propaganda?

Such a waste. There are schools in Alberta without textbooks for half their students, not enough desks in the over-crowded rooms, and no money for portables (or teachers, for that matter) to expand.

Instead of burning that money away to further divide us in pursuit of a foolish endeavour nobody asked for, can we get kids the shit they need to learn effectively?

Quick! Call the Oil & Gas War Room! Get them extra funding to propaganda harder!

Sounds like Danielle Smith is driving a red bus with "350 million a week" written on it.

Good luck Alberta, you'll need it.

Can confirm. The survey they put out, for example, is cartoonishly biased. E.g., paraphrasing a real question: "How should the province invest the massive savings from switching to its own pension plan?"

I'm shocked they didn't just have one question: Do you think the APP will be a) a great thing for the people of Alberta, or b) the greatest thing for the people of Alberta?

Albertans needs to fight back on this. Talk about a province that consistently votes against their own interests. UCP needs to be stopped.
