Did you try the novo button to reset the thing?
Also, run the update from the Vantage app and install all available updates especially the BIOS and the Graphics card driver and restart the computer. It should update from Lenovo.

The Novo button does nothing. I turned off the laptop pressed the Novo button a lot and nothing happened. Then I did the whole thing with the CMOS and the standard batter. It powered onto the Novo options menu but that basically gave me the options; BIOS Menu, Boot Menu or Windows Start Up Failure Menu. All of which I can access with out the Novo button.
Ran the Vantage app. All it did was update the GPU driver as I had already installed and updated all the drivers from Lenovo's website. I guess they had an older GPU driver on the site.
