Madrid, October 1, 2023.- Regarding the sale operation of 49% of the assets of Barça Studios, and in the face of some incorrect information appearing in the media and social networks, LALIGA wishes to clarify:

1. FC Barcelona presented to LALIGA contracts for the sale of shares of one of its companies, collected in a public deed before a notary and authorized by its members in the Assembly.

2. The operation included in the aforementioned contracts has been reviewed by the FC Barcelona auditor accepting its registration in the Club Accounts.

3. The operation included a first payment that was correctly satisfied.

For all these reasons, LALIGA can only scrupulously apply the current regulations and accept said transaction authorized by the members of the Club, in the terms contained in the Club Accounts and following the criteria set by the auditors.

It should be remembered that in application of said regulations, and as soon as we learned that the payment of part of the fixed price had not been satisfied, LALIGA proceeded to reduce the registration capacity of Club players, which is still reduced today.
