I didn't know he wasn't going to re-sign with the Hawks. IMO, he was the better of their two main goalies last year (the other being Petr Mrazek).
Yeah I agree, would’ve been nice to resign him, but honestly he was a little too good for the Hawks rebuild
Stalock seems like a great guy. I met him once at a fundraiser to help find a missing girl from the small town I'm from. He and a handful of other players from the Sharks were doing a signing there to raise money to help find her.
I hope he can bounce back after having a rough last couple of years from his heart condition.
