I sure do love a fresh cooked pies, just like grandma used to make.

I use my fancy toaster oven for everything now, so my full size oven is free to be a server rack. Sweet

[–] tkk13909@sopuli.xyz 14 points 1 year ago (1 children)

My vertical toaster is used as a NAS

[–] Dirk@lemmy.ml 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

3.5 Inch HDDs fit perfectly!

[–] Tiuku@sopuli.xyz 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Even has a secure clamping feature!

[–] Dirk@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago

It's dual-slot, too!

[–] transientpunk@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I just can't make breads in mine. It doesn't get hot enough, nor does it have enough thermal mass. I love it for everything else

[–] NightAuthor@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I haven't tried bread, but my Breville had handled everything I've thrown at it with precision. Premade cookie dough, cooked in that thing, comes out fucking delicious.

I had a feeling we were both talking about the Breville toaster oven. I love that thing!

Having quality tools is a luxury that keeps giving. I researched it quite a bit to get one for my sister, who loves to bake. And when I saw it in action, I had to have one. Now my mom has one too. It’s a virus!

That's a synthesizer not a switch you fool. 😂😂😂

[–] tkk13909@sopuli.xyz 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

So? It's still the same size. You wanna send me a picture of a switch in an oven?

The door is open, obviously they're dehydrating it

[–] essellburns@beehaw.org 6 points 1 year ago

I believe it's technically baked, and we do need to be technical with servers

[–] Macropolis@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

I think it's broiled

[–] Franzia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 13 points 1 year ago

Holy shit a non-workjng oven would be way cheaper and sturdier than a rack. This is huge information.

[–] RandomLegend@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 1 year ago

Starting up some intense rendering or compiling just to make your pizza, sounds like a match made in heaven

...why did you put the preamp in the oven?

For that warm sound.

hahaha.. shut your noise hole.

And yes, audio equipment also uses U1 and U2 rack mounts, so you still haven't found what you're looking for...

...i'll stop now.

[–] spacecowboy@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 year ago

Partitioning the oven again, hey?

[–] mingistech@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Standard oven’s opening in the US is 25” wide.

[–] theshatterstone54@feddit.uk 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And just like that, oven sales have skyrocketed.

[–] KISSmyOS@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

Definitely cheaper than some server racks

[–] GustavoM@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

What, you don't have a potato as a pc?
