Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank have beaten to death a United States citizen in his early 20s, the victim’s family members and rights groups have said.

“We are aware of reports of the death of a US citizen in the West Bank,” Reuters reported a State Department spokesperson as saying. The official declined to comment further “out of respect for the privacy of the family and loved ones” of the reported victim.

"We know. We let them do it, because we're in an abusive relationship and Israel controls our government like those weird funguses that infect ant brains to make them climb the highest blades of grass they can find and then let the mushroom sprout out of their brains, just like thAAARGHBBBGRHRKALLAHARGAHHAGAGAGGAAAAAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAG"

Invade who? Ourselves?

Yes we can do that, and sooner than soon, that shit is already going down!

[–] FuckFascism@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago)

Well when you put it that way, I suppose we do have multiple militarys operating on US soil doing bad shit...

[–] HugeNerd@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

When are you going to get the circumsized cock out of your asses, you religious dumbfucks? We're told what a bad bad bad country Russia is, in the meantime they're a lightweight in comparison to Israel in terms of unbridled savagery, and you not only are "aware" of it, you fund it and supply materiel.

[–] anarchy79@lemmy.world 0 points 13 hours ago

Russia is on the level of Israel in terms of being the worst offenders against democracy and peace on the planet. FUCK RUSSIA, fucking LEVEL THAT SHITHOLE WITH THE GROUND, let them all fucking DIE!

Fucking robot apologist.

Anyways, did you guys catch the game last night? Fucking travesty, they just try to walk the ball in every time.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 1 points 22 hours ago

They might be aware, but they don't act on it appropriately.

[–] sparky@lemmy.federate.cc 48 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (3 children)

That’s it? “We’re aware”? We do a prisoner swap with Russia and release a notorious arms smuggler, just to get back a weed smuggling basketball player. But when our “good buddy” Israel literally murders one of our citizens, we’re just “aware”?

[–] anarchy79@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago

"We are aware they own us and tell us what to do. In other news, spread your cheeks because here comes some heavily uncircumcised dick!!!"

[–] altphoto@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

Wrong person to insult. But you are right in the sentiment, that's it? I would at least stop the supply of weapons for a few weeks so when they burn thru their current pile after evaporating thousands more kids and women (because screw men when it comes to pain due to dying), maybe they'll stop and wonder where they can get more before someone gets pissed off.

I got no Camel in that rat race, I just hope those who want war can get as much of the action as possible. Meanwhile, I wish the rest of us could be as war free as possible. Maybe they can create some remote island by dropping cars packed with dirt, rocks and plastic. Then anyone who wants war can just go there and fight other bright like minded fellows.

The Canadian government is aware that a Canadian citizen died in ICE custody.

What are we supposed to do?

Launch an invasion to free our people from the terrorist American regime?

[–] anarchy79@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago
[–] 3abas@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (2 children)

"launch an invasion"

You always jump to extremes when making decisions?

Here's the official statement from the US government: they are actively investigating it: https://www.ice.gov/news/releases/canadian-national-ice-custody-passes-away

And the embassador tweeted: My team is following the death of a Canadian citizen while in @ICEgov custody. We will keep the Canadian government informed as ICE completes its investigation. I trust in ICE's commitment to transparency and to providing a safe environment for all individuals in its care.

Do you find as Israeli government page saying we're investigating it? Not they I think ICE or Israel would investigate themselves properly, but at least they still put up the facade that diplomacy matters.

Did US media create a touching profile for the victim?

The US is funding and backing a genocide of Palestinians by Israel, and Israeli settlers murdering Palestinians is perfectly acceptable and happens every day. You'd think it would be different if it's a US citizen, but it's not, if you are killed by Israelis as a Palestinian or as a citizen of the US or its allies standing up for Palestinians, they treat you with the same contempt.

The world needs to move away from the petrodollar as one. Watch their psycho terrorist nation crumble, they've got nothing. Even their military fucking sucks, look at Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq. They can't even win wars against nations of rice farmers and goat herders, they need a fucking beatdown, and they're down and weak.

Fucking invade and break it up. They have gone off the fucking rails, they're not of sound mind, they need someone to come in and just force them into democracy. They won't do it themselves. They're just rabid dogs anyway.

The Canaidan died in ICE custody two days before the statement you just linked to was released.

Note we are currently two days after the death of Sayafollah Musallet so it's a little premature to be screaming about a lack of a press release.

The profile of Johnny Noviello on the CBC came out four days after his death. So definitely premature for you to be upset about not finding a profile Sayafollah Musallet two days after his death.

It's been two weeks and I can't find any report from ICE on the cause of death for Johnny Noviello.

The reporting on the Sayafollah Musallet story is currently spotty. The incident just happened on Friday, it was a riot so a messy thing to investigate. There is reporting that the riot was started by Palestinians throwing rocks, and I've seen reporting that three Israelis have been arrested. These are unconfirmed reports though. The incident is being investigated according to Reuters. From what reporting there is, it does seem like they're taking it seriously and it will be investigated and arrests made (if they haven't been already).

This is one of those stories you should follow up on if you actually care about Sayafollah Musallet. Propganda can go around the world before the truth puts its pants on, but if you actually care about a story to know the truth of it, you'll probably need to follow up on it a little more than two days after shit went down so investigations can happen, arrests made, reporters can confirm sources, etc.

Also it may shock you to learn American citizens do get killed over seas fairly regularly. What do you suppose the US government does immediately after those incidents? Usually nothing, if a reporter asks, they say something like "we're aware of the situation". You just have a greater concern for this particular region of the world than for others for some reason.

According to the MAGAzis.

[–] parody@lemmings.world 17 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Anyone up for starting a petition for an A-List celebrity to stand in Gaza breadlines? Netanyahu might not be eager to kill them at least not right away so maybe a handful of kids could be saved

(superwhite American, US-born to US-born parents, to marginally increase MAGA difficulty in aftermath interviews)

[–] MapleEngineer@lemmy.world 41 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Send Beavis and Butthead over to do it

[–] parody@lemmings.world 5 points 2 days ago

I didn’t mean we should risk the very height of humanity!

[–] fittedsyllabi@lemmy.world 72 points 2 days ago (2 children)

MAGA doesn’t care, he’s not White.

[–] geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml 33 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Rachel Corrie says they still wouldn't care

[–] scarabic@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Yeah being white is necessary but not sufficient.

[–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 21 points 2 days ago

Even if he were a white person, they still wouldn't do anything about it.

Both Democrats and Republicans fully support the genocide.

"Settlers"

Lebensraum enjoyers

[–] TrojanRoomCoffeePot@lemmy.world 18 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Lebensraum

Wasn't aware of this expression before, thank you for the new burn. "Casual enjoyer of other people's territory, as though it had simply been their own backyard the whole time, left waiting for their return."

[–] atzanteol@sh.itjust.works 10 points 2 days ago (2 children)

It's not a "burn" - it was the casus belli given for Nazi territorial expansion.

[–] anarchy79@lemmy.world 0 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

"WE NEED YOUR SHIT AND WE GON TAKE IT FROM YOU! FUCK YOU!"

Is not only the nazi MO, but American foreign policy for a hundred years. Fucking terrorist state. FUCK THE USA. Fucking demons, a scourge upon civilization, a fucking cancer, a festering boil, a tick, a fucking virus.

[–] anarchy79@lemmy.world 0 points 13 hours ago

I am GLAD the Taliban killed a bunch of them on 9/11, I totally get it, I'm with them, at least they did something instead of just writing stern letters. Respect to the Taliban, I can 💯 percent feel where they're coming from. And they were goat herders. Civilized nations have no excuse to let this fucking circus go on. Except, of course, $$$.

Anyone giving an inch to the US should be shot.

[–] TrojanRoomCoffeePot@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Its use as an insult to mock those to whom it applies, is what makes it a burn. I'm already well aware of what it is, but had never seen or heard anyone apply a specific name to it. It's mine now, and I'm going to use it to insult land thieves wherever and whomever they are.

[–] atzanteol@sh.itjust.works 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Ugh. I'd rather you be arguing against my side that for it then.

[–] TrojanRoomCoffeePot@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago (1 children)
[–] atzanteol@sh.itjust.works 0 points 14 hours ago

What a burn - looks like you win the conversation. 🤣

[–] charade_you_are@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I really hope they get some kind of karmic backlash. I don't really believe in karma but I don't know what else to think. All of our shitty countries are straight up fully supporting them or maybe straight up controlling them.

[–] anarchy79@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

What about actual backlash and we all agree that what the fucking Brits did was a shitfuckcunt of an idea and we should revert what they did and stop being a fucking lapdog to a psychotic terrorist nation directly responsible for the pedophile rampage of the global elites who literally are behind Epstein and Maxwell?

Look. We all thought it was a remotely semi conscious idea back then. It didn't work out. Let's fix that.

[–] charade_you_are@sh.itjust.works 1 points 10 hours ago

Yeah, I'm all for an actual backlash but that doesn't really seem like it's going to happen. People have access to this info from multiple sources and a majority of people continue to believe the places that constantly lie to them or they're sick fucks. Other people are against anything resembling a backlash and will be happy to vote for a status quo candidate who will have moved closer to the right(US) to get votes. The small percentage that's left, informed and ready for some action, aren't getting together and coming up with decent plans(that I know of anyway)
