Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

It's getting people who are willing and able to do it. It's surprisingly hard.

Just casually removing the right to be judged by a panel of your peers.
Why not hire more judges?
Not everyone can pull off a wig.
