The DHS views the situation differently. In a statement to NBC, a department spokesperson said that “Garcia assaulted and verbally harassed a federal agent and that he was subdued and arrested for the alleged assault”.
If that's really the case, then why did they let him go without pressing charges? And will the footage from this man's phone back that up, or can he add slander and libel to his case?
BTW, tasers are dirt cheap - you can get 'em for $10 at a lot of checkout counters. It might be a good idea to carry one in case a masked individual tries to kidnap you.
