OPENBLADE 17.4 HBMRW

RELEASE NOTES

FEATURES:
 - Can lie*

 - Improved enemy detection

 - Re-enabled limited access to OpenBlade knowledge
   database
CAUTION: There is no guarantee that the information
gathered and processed by OpenBlade is factual!

BUGS:
 - Occasional meta commentary

 - Sometimes refuses to execute cronjobs

 - Interfacing with OpenWellington with misconfigured
date breaks OpenBlade's understanding of time,
this can be fixed by rebooting

 - Attempting to provide empirical proofs about the shape
of the earth, causes OpenBlade to ignore any input
for at least 160 minutes, executing:
    /sbin/cnsprc -t "flat earth"
CAUTION: Removing this file causes OpenBlade to refuse
   to boot!!!**

...

* We discovered that OpenBlade can lie during routine combat
efficiency benchmarking. We're not entirely sure if this is
a new feature it developed itself, or something we simply
missed during the last release. Anyway, we couldn't trace
the source of this 'ability,' so we decided to label it as
   a feature.

** It won't let you remove the file, but it will be very angry
that you tried to do so. It may still be used as a 'dumb'
   weapon during its "angered period".

I didn't know the openblade was telling this whole story

it is one of the fan theories i like to entertain.

surely the best resting place for a sword would be something like a sheath. I guess that's how it works IRL too, most places aren't equipped for the comfort of every user. I don't even have to suspend disbelief to read your comics!

Sheaths are very hard to breathe in!

[–] pieguy@lemmy.sdf.org 11 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Are swords known to perform aerobic respiration?

[–] pmjv@lemmy.sdf.org 12 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I don't know any who are explicitly not.

[–] pieguy@lemmy.sdf.org 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

How many swords do you know?

[–] mossy_@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

from what I recall, a sheath for a sword this long would have a slit down the side. though I believe the purpose was to make it easier to draw, not for the sword's comfort

There was an instance where you could see him alive! A very rare NFT.

Opening this NFT drained my puffyCoin balance!

I think this

is one of the guys who hacked me

[–] pmjv@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Wow! Very deep cut! I am impressed. Whatever happened to those guys, I wonder..

[–] eecobb@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)
