It looks like the house was converted to have their offices on the bottom floor and then the living quarters on the top floors.

I had a friend who lived in a house like that. He said it was a royal pain carting groceries up every time you went shopping.

Do they not have apartments where you live? Walk-ups, home conversions, etc. Everywhere I've lived, this was super common
