If EU had any brains (not to mention balls), they would invest to scale such attacks by x100.
But considering the nature of EU political leadership (Merkel, SchrΓΆder) and the generally cowardly posture of a significant portion of the EU population (let's not play dumb), one is reasonable in considering whether the EU has what it takes to defeat the russians (putin is a mere symptom of the broad support of genocidal imperialism among the russians).
How would the EU scale such operations specifically? My understanding is that the hardware used here is comparatively minimal and Ukraine uses (and produces) multiple times the amount of drones used here weekly. And i don't think those were super high tech drones either. So that surely isn't the limiting factor here.
This really comes down to planning and boots on the ground to execute the plan. I am relatively sure that the west is sharing satellite images and other intelligence regarding targets with Ukraine. But you can't really expect the EU to help with manpower in Russia.
Agree, I wasn't referring to solely financial aid for scaling.
To start with, putting ~10 EU anti-air batteries to provide cover for our cities and military industry areas, could be of use. So yes, boot on the ground, not on the front though.
And the general attitude of recognizing "limits"claimed by russia isn't productive. ..
