I've spent way too long over the past couple days looking up the curious case of an orange oily substance coming out of my uh, rear end recently. Long story short, apparently it can be caused by some kinds of white fish - and I did eat an unusual one on Wednesday - but it's not going away, so I'm starting to wonder if it's a pancreas thing.
Ah well, enough Dr Google - real drs appt it is on Wednesday, hopefully it won't be $60 out of pocket just to be told it's stress...
I looked it up, this says it should last a few days tops and see a dr if it persistsโฆ
If you get brushed off and itโs ongoing definitely get a second opinion. It could be an underlying malabsorption issue
Poor Melbcat seems fussy and is a bit โbacked upโ, still seems painy, and still cries after peeing :( She also seems unusually hungry for wet food.
Iโve been giving her osmolax + extra water in her wet food and am taking her back to the vet Monday. The uti might not be resolving even on the hardcore antibiotics or she might need to have her thyroid checked again. Or perhaps itโs her kidneys worsening ๐ฃ
I also havenโt been trying to apply the dental gel because I donโt want to upset her.
Edit: Iโve given her a spot on treatment and used the oral gel. I am a mean abusive mumther

I have been required to compensate her in cracker crumbs (also bad for her teeth)
