AI Art IS dying. In this video, you'll hear how AI art is failing left and right, and it's not doing as well as they say. It's flawed, unethical, legally ambiguous, and that means it's time is almost up. Artists: don't worry about AI art, just persist. I believe in you!

But also don't forget to give it a glaze with nightshade before hitting "post"

Polluting AI while it's trying to steal your art is a must.

Pretty sure the vomit is here to stay. People don't care about that it's shit on all levels, its cheap for them and most don't give a crap about anything else.

Yeah; it's 'sufficient' for a lot of purposes. It's like complaining about things being made out of cheap plastic; it's not as good but it's often good enough. There are ethical concerns but they won't generally stop its use.

Using it to make decisions or write actual technical documentations is different. But most art doesn't need to be correct; it's art.

Doesnt matter if its trash and incosistent if it gets millions of views, does bother me how much they use properties they dont own, like superheroes and make bank off it, like damn can 3d artists do that too call it a parody or is just ai allowed to

~~dying~~ thriving

I actually like how it's bringing indy (TRUE INDY; as in single person) titles much higher quality because the programmers don't have to be these multi-talented savants.

You'd be surprised at how much AI you're already gulping down without realizing it's AI, and how many things you're saying are AI, that aren't.

Plenty of indie game devs just commission an artist for this. Often with small upfront payments and a deal for a cut of revenue/profits. This just isn't the problem I think you think it is. I also strongly doubt there's been any major indie games that have used AI art, because it would have been news.

I do definitely agree though that there are a lot of things people say are AI that aren't. I did this and was massively wrong once and I've become a lot more cautious about jumping to that conclusion now, lest a real artist be piled on.
