Where did the vote buttons on the left in dense view go (lemmy.world)

I had vote buttons on the left in dense post view. Then I went fiddling with the view settings and they disappeared after changing views, and I don't see which option brings them back. Am I just an idiot and can't see it?

Close the app and open again. It happened to me a few times while adjusting settings.

I closed and reopened, force stopped, even cleared data and set it up again. They didn't come back.

Edit: I am an idiot. They are only in compact view, not dense.
