I don't live in the city proper so I couldn't vote but it was awesome seeing so many people out there. Municipal politics are so important and I don't understand why more people don't get involved in them.

I am so incredibly proud of my city for turning out in volume like this.
Like the council I had expectations of low turnout and while waiting in line was not fun I’m glad to have spent the time.
I'm so glad Vancouver voters were tuned in to all the sketchy behaviour of Ken Sim, ABC councillors and the ABC campaign.
Trying to bring back gas into new builds multiple times despite it being rejected every time (and public speakers overwhelmingly turning out against it?)
Having people opt-out of receiving ABC election signs? (Including ex-ABC councillor Bligh's parents) Avoiding all candidate Q&As directly with voters? Making it harder to vote in the first place by cutting staff and reducing voting locations?
I think if this keeps up ABC and Sim are in for a rough ride next municipal election.
It was interesting to see Ken Sim getting boo’ed at the Juno awards. I knew he wasn’t liked but it seems to go a lot farther than that, but I’m not a Vancouver resident.
