Was reading new package, they removed plastics and now they brag about it.

I have issues in my life because of that. As a consumer I have to watch about my carbon footprint and recycle plastics, can even get fined if I don't.

So why would I praise them if they could do it long time ago and see how much plastic they produced each year.

I never asked to use plastics

What a meaningless statistic. If you reuse a plastic bag, that could also be 40,000 km of plastic, just atoms thick

I have different package at home.

"By removing the plastic from our packaging we will save the equivalent of about 30 million plastic bags annually*.

*based on 2019 sales volume in Europe, Middle East and Africa and a 10g plastic bag that is 45cm long"

so this doesn't even include Asia, Americas and Australia

What, you don't observe the standard unit of Q-tips per Earth's circumference?

what was stopping them?

It was cheaper than the alternative and people didn't care as much as they do today
