Risk it? They already have forfeited it.

All part of the plan. Krasnov doing putin proud.

@Maiq @silence7 I still don't get it. You'd think that even a Russian asset, as a malignant narcissistic demagogue, on becoming president of the largest economy in the world with the most powerful army, would just go 'actually f*** you, I'm a bigger deal than you now, and your army and economy have both been ripped to shreds since I last got booted out anyway.' Like, why's he reducing the power/influence of the US and therefore his *own* power?!

$$$

He is selling off the country bit by bit. Pardoning conmen and criminals. Running crypto scams. Pissing off all our allies and burning those bridges. Intentionally crashing the economy. Undermining his own political authority and power on the world stage. Meeting with kremlen officials on the regular. Sending his thugs to Greenland to gin up support for his takeover/invasion. Saying he's going to invade Canada. Ignoring the courts.

The list could go on for hours. The only thing that makes sense is he is a russian asset and his directive is to dismantle russia's largest adversary. Turn old allies against the US and align with kim jong-un and putin.

putin likely promised to make him king. Krasnov has to dismantle everything from the inside first to rebuild the US in russias image.

This ends (in Trump’s mind) with Trump living the good life as an oligarch in Russia after the US people turn on him. In reality, Putin will throw him under the bus.

People still seeing conflict in terms of nations states and not class conflict in 2025?

Dude is literally pushing class warfare through tarrifs paid by the working class and people are still like "this is a Russian plot"?

This is a global attack on the working class and they are hoping you fall for nationalism. Please dont fall for that bull shit narrative. This is capitalism trying to defend itself from its inevitable decline.

Trump isn't any more aligned with Russian oligarchs than his is are own. He's aligned with both of them because they all share the same class interest. Don't be fooled be nationalism and it's narratives.

These are the same narratives that Republicans fall for to "prepare for hard times" as they pass policy that destroys your material conditions.
