I hope this has a good outcome for Turkish democracy. Mainly for their own sakes of course, but the western world also really needs a win against autocratic regimes at this point in history.

Originally I thought you meant 2 million out of 15 million people but Turkey's population is 86 million

Maybe he meant the population of Istanbul which is 15 million. That is fucking huge. In relative and absolute terms.
