Just getting really unhinged and confused messages from my parents. They are holding on by a thread. I don't even think they know who Musk is.

My Trump supporting relatives can swim in their own cesspool. If they show even a hint of self-awareness then I may be moved to care or offer support.

However while they cling to that belief system, they are on their own. Karma is a bitch, ain’t she?

Yeah, they chose this over a relationship with us. They get to enjoy the fruits of that choice for the rest of their lives.

lol nah - My dad handing me a pamphlet about how Hilary Clinton is the anti-christ was just another serving of bull shit added to decades of other bull shit. Been 9 years of peace since I cut him out. He can rot, not changing my life one bit.

Not saying make good. It's just eye opening how lost they are.

Some were lost before they found the rapist, felon and KKK/Neo Nazi idol to latch onto, some were lost after. If they are still tied to that ship, the rest of us have no obligation to them - including having any contact whatsoever. Altruism has a time and a place, but those people are probably beyond saving by the rest of us at this point.

Like I said, these people were lost beforehand. Take note how the decline is only worsened.

It’s difficult. My dad honestly raised me to be a loving human being, but seeing him support this shit is going against everything he taught his kids about being good people. But I don’t know if he could have that conversation in good faith. I’ve debated writing him a letter but who knows.

I just think it's clarity on what we are dealing with.

The US have collectively lost their mind. It's only going downhill from here.

A portion of the US... But yes, it seems down is the current direction. The rest of us are angry, scared, and wondering... How far? How fast? What's at the bottom? How do we get our ducks in a row before midterms?

It started around 9/11 for me, but maybe because I started paying attention. Before that I didn't even care what they said. After that, it's like watching the asylum.

Who do you think wrote the Patriot act...hint ( heritage assholes.. they used 9/11 to pass it.)
