Hey guys, we're defederated! Woohoo! I don't know if posts made during this episode gate posted, so I post again:

Yesterday my neurologist and I agreed on trying cgrp injections to tackle my chronic migraine. Now I need to decide which one to try. But looking at the facts and numbers the differences are marginal. So I'm looking for some first hand experiences! TIA!

I was on emgality for 3 years or so and it worked exceedingly well at the start. Over the past year or so, its effectiveness has tapered off towards the end of the month. I spoke with my neurologist who suggested this is increasingly more common and he put me on qulipta instead. So far, it seems to have the effectiveness emgality had when I first started it.

I was on Vyepti for a year. It worked great, until it didn't.

My doctor has me using Ajovy because he said that it tends to stick around longer in his patient’s systems. (Apparently some people will get migraines close to when they’re due for their next dose, which tracks with my experience using an injectable for chronic hives.) I’ve only taken the first dose as of a week ago so I can’t really report anything yet.
