I recently got into my first tabletop Miniatures wargame, a song of ice and fire. This is my first unit painted. Before I only ever painted DnD and Pathfinder minis which at best I used for OPR fantasy Skirmish.

They look great!

How did you find OPR? I've been trying to drum up interest in some Grimdark Firefight from my D&D pals.

Oh I've also just noticed the unpainted hoard behind them too!

Oh yeah those are the first 12 of my army of over 50 minis. So a long way to go still. But the painting process was a ton of fun so I'm happy I got more to paint right now. This might change another 20 minis on though hah.

OPR is great for quick fun games. The basic rules are a bit too simple for our taste. But with the command points and bonus game modes which you can get for 5 bucks it's pretty fun and got enough variety. It's an amazing second game for more beer and pretzels approach.

Congrats! Now chase that good feeling with another unit.

Taking a break from batch painting by painting 2 characters now. I think that's a good rhythm.

Yeah, i like to break up units with characters like that so I don't go mad.
