It is a tremendously unpleasant sounding word. It along with 'boob' make me cringe. I've no idea what Blep even means though.
It's when a cute animal sticks out its tongue a little bit. I like to see it, but I agree about the word being very unpleasant.

Pretty much, yes! Though the emoji tongue sticking out bothers me less than the real ones of cats, dogs, etc.

Finally, someone else with the same irrational dislike of them! I don't even know why this is the one emoji/reaction for me, but I can't stand it. There is nothing really wrong with it, but without ever choosing to, I cringe specifically at these (and *mlem). Of all the things to have an irrational, deep seated hatred for, at least this is harmless enough. Thank you for showing me I'm not alone in this and let this be the first and last time I rant about disliking bleps

My dog is nearly 16 and has started sleeping with his tongue out due to his age. That along with him sleeping more soundly are really adorable.
