Bananas are also berries, with banana trees being really tall bushes.

Peppers, bananas, and watermelons also fit the botanical definition of a "berry" - they're simple fruits, that produce seeds internally (or at least were supposed to).

While in the culinary definition, it's basically... it's small, a fruit (in the culinary sense), and you'd make a sweet pie out of it? Or a jam.
