Ummm, Ok!!! Don't threaten me with a good time

Maybe this is a sarcastic suggestion that won't see any progress beyond showmanship. There is no low too low for the Republican party, but i wonder if there is integer underflow for situations like this.

Let all Ethics Reports be released? Then how about:

Forgive student debts to own the libs?

Shutdown fossil fuel extraction because they power space lasers?

Get rid of the lotteries and stupid stuff, end illegal immigration by making all immigration de facto legal?

Its actually clever. When the repubs block the release of the reports she will claim the dems balked at releasing the reports because they are the dirty ones.

How many of these ethics reports even really exist? Gaetz existed I thought because he was under investigation for his crimes and they said if he dropped out it would be sealed.

Do they actually have reports for everyone? If so that's great, but I can't imagine they were actually investigating every person in the same manner.

She's right and all...

But will it actually matter? The public voted for a pedo rapist felon. Surely if the triple threat is your pick for president, to be considered "incompatible" you would have had to do something truly horrific.

The pigs are fighting for their position at the feeding trough

[–] adarza@lemmy.ca 14 points 1 month ago

lets just start with demanding that all the incoming nominees and appointees, and donvict (and family) and couch lover, put all their assets and holdings into blind trusts.

this is probably just an internal threat to bring dissenting republicans in line, nothing to see for us here since it likely won't be realized

[–] Adderbox76@lemmy.ca 12 points 1 month ago

Even the stupidest person on earth gets one right every once in a while.

Does anyone remember back when President Bill Clinton was in office ? FOIA was an amazing moment in American politics.

Now the judges, presidents, congresscritters, and cops just say, "Nah it is too dangerous for citizens to see the government's work."

What is that ? What the fuck is that ?

Sure, Marge, let's do it. Now show us how many rubles you've got.

You love to see someone arrive at the correct answer through ignorant spite. Wow.

[–] letsgo2themall@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

[–] auzy@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

Especially looking forward to all those Biden ethics violations they spent months trying to find and millions of dollars

It will probably be a short read compared to the comey report though

[–] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 9 points 1 month ago

GOP will see to it that she'll be shutting the fuck up about this and never speaking of it again by tomorrow
