It's a common joke repeated from some obscure copypasta. I feel like it's based on Dwight's elaborate heist story in The Office, but I can't remember it clearly enough to say for sure.

Every day we stray further from ground truth, the bots get smarter, and the odds of it all being simulated increase.

Edit: but yeah, normal-looking hand. Must be a better model :)
