There's a book on OCD called The Boy Who Couldn't Stop Washing. I have to wash my hands a lot for work, but that ok, I'm not OCD, I have a rationale! :-D

heh, I remember when I was younger I got kicked out of the bathroom before I was done washing my hands (I hadn't washed them for long enough yet) and was told to finish washing them in the other bathroom.
I might have possibly cried for almost a half hour lol (mental illness is not fun, especially as a child who doesn't understand it with parents who don't either)

if you really want to boil your noodle...
your hands aren't even really touching themselves. if you go down small enough you strip everything down to atoms....and they are mostly empty space....the only thing that interacts are the nuclear forces keeping it all together.
