Summary

A knife attack at Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Technology in Yixing, Jiangsu province, left 8 dead and 17 injured on Saturday.

The suspect, a 21-year-old former student who failed to graduate, confessed to carrying out the attack to “express his anger.”

This follows a deadly SUV attack in Zhuhai earlier this week, where 35 were killed and over 40 injured.

While knife violence is not uncommon in China due to strict firearm controls, the frequency and severity of recent attacks have raised concerns.

America doesn’t have a monopoly on frustrated young men turning to violence.

I think they are. I mean all over. They must be taking a break, because I don’t see the usual banter. I guess if the west falls they are out of a job.

In a knife fight the loser dies in the streets, the winner on the way to hospital.
