they lost all three branches of government but the dnc leadership continues to insist that they did the right thing just like they did back in 2016. the fact that they copy/pasted 2016 for 2024; cock blocked bernie in 2016 & 2020; and the new dnc party leaders likewise continue to insist that they did nothing wrong proves that the dnc is going to repeat 2016 & 2024 into either 2028 or 2032 and democrats are going to suppress constructive criticism once again as they march willfully ignorantly into yet another defeat that hurts everyone.

sticking with the democrats is like repeating history but on meth since they keep repeating their failures almost every decade and the people who keep doing it need to re-examine why they keep doing it when it get things like status-quo-joe biden as a best case scenario.

I was listening to the weekly show with John Stewart and he had someone come on to talk about how we need to consider economic class just the same as we consider ethnicity and gender, etc. John walked away feeling hyped about it but was immediately thinking how to get these ideas adopted by the democrats. I love John to death. I think he is 100% correct on it. My only hesitatiokn knowing full well that the democrats will poison that well the moment it leadership starts to critize it to.

That's why they need to be ashamed about losing to donald trump over and over. Anyone who isn't dick in the dirt upset they couldn't beat the orange fascist should be driven from the party and into obscurity.

they're not ashamed and they're gearing up to do it again so it begs the question: how do you drive away the people who are responsible into obscurity when they're the ones that are in charge?

It's starts on the ground. It can't be two ways. If the Russians and other country's can push messaging out through social media and have these massive returns like we see with Trump then we can send messaging out too. It takes at most the same amount of people that absorb these toxic messages to send back one of hope. I've spent so much time in the last 8 years arguing. It's fruitless. Not entirely fruitless because it's so clear to me now the types of tactics these assholes use to exhaust and obsfucate good practical messaging.

What does that mean. It means you stop arguing. I stop arguing. It means we are out here "yes anding" the messages we like and we are ignoring the people who want to pick us apart. Learn that block button. Once they turn to the dark side of being so entrenched in some idea that they refuse to "yes and" they are wasting energy you could be out there lifting another poster up.

That's the ground game. We have to overwhelm conflict with unity.

They should, but they're just going to blame the left and move even further to the right.

If they had won, they would have gleefully announced that moving to the right works and... moved even further to the right.

The DNC either doesn't realize or doesn't care that their "move to the right as a response to all sensory input" strategy has hit a wall.

You're right they should. And so should the American people who elected it.

I'm ashamed of them, that's for damn sure.

[–] pearsaltchocolatebar@discuss.online 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

To be fair, the American people didn't get to pick the democrat nominee.

[–] Rampsquatch@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Okay let's be fair: how does that change that the people either voted for a would be dictator, or chose not to vote at all allowing him to win?

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 0 points 3 days ago (1 children)

So you're saying that people should be bullied into accepting leaders they don't want and pretend that's democracy?

[–] Rampsquatch@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 days ago

Did they vote? If they didn't vote that means they get what they get, and they shouldn't complain if they didn't care enough to do the absolute bear minimum to participate in democracy.
