Yep, if I did it in post I would do that, however, this is a builtin filter in the camera. A bit gimmicky, but I enjoy not having to do it in post, since I never get around to it, and the RAW-files just sit on my camera forever instead.
I quite enjoy doing light post-processing on my photos, but yes, it involves setting time aside for it, and the discipline not to spend more time on a photo than it is worth.
