Don't forget the time change tonight for most of the USA.

[–] lazycouchpotato@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Yep! The time.is links take that into account.

One can also go to https://www.formula1.com/en/racing/2024/brazil to double check the quali and race time for their time zone.

Beware that F1tv doesn’t yet show the updated race time.

Also, this is doc 48 detailing the new schedule:

Is that race time brought forward as well?

[–] lazycouchpotato@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Indeed. From 2:00 PM local time to 12:30 PM local time.

Why is that? Risk of more rain later in the day?

[–] SkunkWorkz@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

There is risk of rain throughout the entire day. By starting earlier they have more time to wait it out. Interlagos doesn’t have floodlights so they rely entirely on daylight.

Thanks for pointing that out!!

Tonight is daylight time savings in the US, so watch for that

For Americans who watch the races on ESPN. The race will on ESPNU.
