In Canada you can show up at the polling station and, with ID and a piece of mail addressed to you in the riding, register to vote in about 5 minutes. You then mark your vote on a little piece of paper using a stubby pencil. When the polls close the election workers open the ballot boxes, count the votes, and report them to Elections Canada and we know who won by midnight.

What the fuck is wrong with the US?

Roughly half the country thinking a "Republic" means "Democracy, when we know and agree with the outcome".

And she seethed at the idea that anyone would question the citizenship of a former federal employee with the “whitest name you could have.”

lmao. Oh and by federal employee, she worked at the TSA.
