The circle area is not a solar farm. There are solar panels in the top left of the image, though. It would be very inefficient to put solar panels in a circular array like this.

I mean this isn't solar power that uses photovoltaics, it uses temperature to melt salt and uses that energy to create power. Such power plants are still in use, thought I'm not sure if such plants are still being built.
