Natürlich! Für mich, Ich lerne Deutsch!

Mein Deutsch ist schlecht, für jetzt, aber Ich lerne alle Tag!

I've probably made several bad grammatical errors in that, but I'm getting there. I've been learning for 6 weeks!

Of course! For me, I'm learning German! My German is bad, for now, but I learn every day!

Well, you appear to know German better than me!

It all comes down to outlook. I've known incredibly happy people who work their asses off, have no money, and nothing really going on in their lives, and I've known financially successful people at the heights of their careers who have families and hobbies, yet are completely miserable. Barring issues like clinical depression, happiness is a choice.
