One of the things that really makes me appreciate localthunk's game design choices is how jokers reveal game mechanics. In this case, even if you don't know ace can be high or low, the superposition encourages figuring it out.

You can also drag the cards and more importantly the jokers around. Having that lucky card hit 3 times in a row because it's first can make all the difference, and having the multiplier multipliers happen AFTER the additions to multiplier will change your run.

It took me awhile to realize how important order is. It's hard to imagine beating gold stake, let alone multiple times without this knowledge.

A fun synergy with this is the wee joker and hanging chad. I recently beat gold stake for the first time and had the wee joker just over +1000 chips with this combo and making sure 2s were played first.

I beat the game on gold, got e score, have a super combo I play to make (deck all king of hearts, then idol/tribulet/bloodstone etc, with 5 of a kind)...

I only learnt that you can move the lowest card to the left of a steel joker to proc raised fist's mult, THEN the steelcard.

Yes. I imagine anyone who doesn't know this hasn't played poker before though

Ffs. I think I'm also stupid.

Yes, that's called a wheel, and it's a standard poker hand.
