It will come down on its own eventually.
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

This is the information that guy is selling for $1000 π
Now I'm wondering how long it would take
It is designed like a hot air balloon, but it appears to have a sealed balloon. This is probably a helium balloon, which means you're going to have to wait for the helium to leak out.
Based on the art, I'd say it would last about as long as a normal latex filled helium balloon (it's bigger, so there's more in it, but also more surface area) so probably would take a day or two before it deflates enough to drop.
Remember that volume increases cubically whilst surface area increases exponentially (i think)
Volume is cubic (r^3) and surface area is quadratic (r^2)
Hes right tho
Your formatting didn't come out right.
Cloud services. (They lock you in, I know. )
AWS and GCP in a nutshell
Good luck with getting him to pay from 50 meters up in the air
Phones still work from 50~~ft~~ metres in the air....
Good luck exchanging information ^over the distance I specified^
Edited. Thanks.
Oh, also, I am sure a balloon costs more than 1000$, so I am stealing that, lol.
Interesting. Through what mechanism will you steal a balloon that will stay aloft for a couple of days, has no mechanism of altitude control once you remove the rope, and will likely expel you at the first sign of any wind, assuming you don't die of hypothermia or hypoxia first?
Well, worst case scenario I die and he gets jail time.
Landline phones?
Gotem
I have been in a hot air balloon. You might Think there is some way to maneuver it.
If so, youβre wrong.
Just use the steering wheel
You can, you just kinda hope to not hit a thermal or strong winds. You have weighted balasts on all sides of the basket, by changing the weight distribution you can influence the direction of the floating. Influence, not fully control; iirc as long as wind is less than 5mph opposed to the direction you want to go, you'll be able to pick up speed in that direction.
A plane can be maneuvered. If the wind blows and youβre completely powerless because of it, youβre not maneuvering shit. A hot air balloon cannot be steered, is what Iβm saying.
The fact that I can't immediately think of a reason this would be illegal scares me
If you refused to land this would be extortion I believe, but I'm no lawyer
So why aren't loot boxes extortion then? I immediately thought of EA.
cutting the rope and drifting can save you a grand
A smart businessman would make sure to tell them they need to leave anything pointy on the ground.
a smarter man keeps his edge
It's ok guns aren't sharp :^)
FAA has entered the chat
and FFA
Climbing down the rope would do the job as well, considering itβs latched to the rim of the basket. Probably be fairly easy, too. Wrap shirt around hands, clamp feet to rope (one above the other so the rope rests between your shoes, which then functions as a brake to slow your slide), and slide down.
Jump out of spite.
Good luck collecting the money.
Just do the scam on crypto bros only
Climb down the line, balloon still up.
Didnβt read the Terms and Conditions. π€·ββοΈ
Kind of like with Boeing and those poor astronauts stuck on the space station
I would just wait until he went to sleep and then slide down the rope.
